skiamegeve winter summer

Summer bobsleighs function in the same manner as winter bobsleighs, but on a concrete piste , to slow down one must pull the rudder bar back towards oneself.

Once you are on a chairlift with the bobsleigh attached behind you, you're off for a descent that will last only a few minutes! Tight curves, varied slopes... the Jaillet piste will gently send your adrenaline pumping.

If this hair-raising sport attracts adolescents in particular, it can also be performed as energetically as a family, parents sharing the same sleigh as the smallest of children.

There are two 500m pistes, the rabbit and the tortoise, down a 100m slope.

Rules and regulations for the use of the Jaillet bobsleigh

  • Rain :

In the event of rain, all the pistes will be closed for security reasons.
Unused tickets may be used at a later date without a validity limit, no reimbursments can be made.

  • Single-seater vehicle :

The structure of the vehicle is designed for one adult and one child, less than 1,25m tall, to descend in safety. Otherwise this is strictly a one-seater vehicle.

  • Children of less than 1,25m in height :

It is strictly forbidden for a child less than 1.25m tall to use these vehicles. However if they are accompanied by an adult or an adolescent authorized to ride with them, they may take the same sleigh and the child rides free of charge.

  • Gaps for security reasons  :

It is imperative, for security reasons, that sufficient distance is maintained between two vehicles : by so doing collisions will be avoided. The client implicitly agrees to respect this rule. When departing you must respect the time intervals set by the two-coloured lights.

  • Clothing to be worn  :

Wearing a helmet is recommended. Arms and legs must be clothed. Helmets are availble with a deposit

  • On the sleigh track  :

It is strictly forbidden to stop or to walk along the track during the descent.

General rules :

Respect all signals given and in particular those asking you to slow down. Uncontrolled speed is one of the principal causes of accidents. You brake by pulling on the rudder bar. Never place your hands, arms or legs outside the sleigh. At the end of the track, vacate the piste quickly.

The respect of these rules will contribute to your pleasurable enjoyment of your stay in Jaillet.
